Auto Denoise
Noise is a serious problem that hinders high quality digital image processing. In digital photography, the consumer- and prosumer-level cameras produce images with an easily noticeable noise component. This component is especially strong in images taken at high ISO rates. The noise reduces the visual quality of digital images and resulting printouts. Some image processing operations, like sharpening, make quality of noisy images even worse.
Auto Denoise is a digital filter designed to automatically reduce visible noise in digital photos.
To use the Auto Denoise filter:

Noise is a serious problem that hinders high quality digital image processing. In digital photography, the consumer- and prosumer-level cameras produce images with an easy noticeable noise component. This component is especially strong in images which are taken at high ISO rates. The noise reduces the visual quality of digital images and resulting printouts. Denoise is a digital filter designed to reduce a visible noise in digital photos.
The user can adjust many parameters for this filter. Luminance and color strength make it possible to specify noise reducing strength (in percents) in luminance and color channels correspondingly. Threshold parameter helps to select noise from the image. Higher values of this parameter leave more noise in the image, lower values produce blured image. Area radius specifies radius for the noise analysis. Higher values allow to reduce low frequency noise but this can blur the image. Area smoothing parameter let the user set the smoothing factor for uniform regions (non edge regions). Sharpness parameter sets amount of edge sharpening in percents, higher values can leave some noise in image. Image details parameter allows to specify how many small details must be leaved after the denoise. Lower values produce blured image, higher values can leave image noisy. The number of iterations can be specified through the corresponding slider. The user should be careful with this parameter, as the filter takes a lot of time for processing.

Edge-Preserving Smoothing
Edge-Preserving Smoothing is a simple 3X3 bilateral filtering.
The basic idea underlying bilateral filtering is to do in the range of image what traditional filters do in their domain. Two pixels can be close to each other, occupying nearby spatial location, or they can be similar to each other, having nearby values, possibly in a perceptually meaningful fashion. You can specify distance of the closest pixels in color and space domains via corresponding sliders.
To use the Edge-Preserving Smoothing filter:
Choose Image > Restoration > Edge-Preserving Smoothing

Focus
Focus corrector works quite differently from Unsharp Mask. Whereas Unsharp Mask (or Sharpen) filters increase the contrast at the edges of the image, Focus corrector reverses the out-of-focus formula through which the image got blurred. This allows the details to be recovered, whereas with Unsharp Mask it is not possible.
When the image gets out of focus, a point source of light (a small shiny object) becomes a circle of light. The user must specify circle of light radius via corresponding slider (radius).
Smooth slider allows to reduce amount of unwanted artifacts. However it reduces sharpness.
Noise factor slider helps the user to reduce noise effect on the target image, though it reduces sharpness too.
Small preview window helps to adjust this values.
Choose Image > Restoration > Focus Corrector

Red Eye Remover
Even with modern cameras with built-in red-eye-reduction modes, it can happen that one or more of the subjects on the photos show the red-eye effect. In this case, the Red Eye Remover helps. Even the worst red-eye effect can be repaired with this function. Just select the face with red eyes and press "proceed" button.
Choose Image > Restoration > Red Eye Remover
