View Menu
This menu contains functions which are related to the display (of the program) allowing you to control the way different elements of the program are displayed/viewed.

- Toolbars and Dialog Boxes
Actual Size
This function will cause the picture to be displayed at its actual size (in pixels) in a 1:1 ratio.
In order to activate the function press on the Actual Size sub-menu under the View menu.
Zoom In (+)
This function will increase the size of the picture displayed. The increase in size does not affect the picture's Actual Size. It only affects the way it is displayed on the screen.
In order to activate the function press on the Zoom In (+) sub-menu under the View menu.
Zoom Out (-)
This function will cause a decrease in size of the picture displayed. The decrease in size does not affect the actual size of the picture. It only affects the way it is displayed on the screen.
In order to activate the function press on the Zoom Out (-) sub-menu under the View menu.
Full Screen
Pressing this sub-menu will cause the display of nothing but the picture on the screen. In this state it is possible to increase/decrease the size of the picture by using the mouse buttons. In order to return from this state to the editing state, press any key.
To get to this sub-menu, select the View menu and then select the Full Screen sub-menu.
Show Grid
Pressing this sub-menu will activate/deactivate the Grid Display. Pressing once on the sub-menu will activate the Grid Display, while pressing again will deactivate the Grid Display. The Grid Display is a helpful tool when precision is needed during the editing of a picture. Through the Options dialog box, it is possible to control the Grid's line spacing and color.
To get to this sub-menu, select the View menu and then select the Show Grid sub-menu.
Show Rulers
Pressing this sub-menu will activate/deactivate the Rulers Display. Pressing once on the sub-menu will activate the Rulers Display, while pressing again will deactivate the Rulers Display. The Rulers Display is a helpful tool when precision is needed during the editing of a picture.
To get to this sub-menu, select the View menu and then select the Show Rulers sub-menu.
Show Axis Lines
Pressing this sub-menu will activate/deactivate the Axis Lines Display. Pressing once on the sub-menu will activate the Axis Lines Display, while pressing again will deactivate the Axis Lines Display. The Axis Lines Display is a helpful tool when precision is needed during the editing of a picture.
To get to this sub-menu, select the View menu and then select the Show Axis Lines sub-menu.
Toolbars and Dialog Boxes
Pressing this sub-menu will open the Toolbars and Dialog Boxes dialog box, which enable you to choose which toolbars and dialog boxes will be displayed on the screen. The default is when all the toolbars and dialog boxes are displayed on the screen. In order to cancel the display of a toolbar/dialog box you must remove the check mark on its side by clicking it. In order to display a toolbar/dialog box that is not displayed, you must mark it by clicking on it. In order to complete the process, you must press the OK button. In order to cancel the process, press the CANCEL button.
To get to this sub-menu, select the View menu and then select the Toolbars and Dialog Boxes sub-menu. |
