To get to this sub-menu, select the Effects menu and then select the More sub-menu.

When the area of selection is rectangular, it is possible to use the effect to create buttons (such as push-buttons for internet sites). In order to create a button, it is recommended to define the Back Color in the color toolbar as black and the Fore Color as light gray. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
    • Level Slider - With this command you can control the intensity of the effect. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the intensity while moving the regulator to the left will decrease it.
    • Bevel Slope Slider - The angle of the margins' slope. As the angle increases, so do the margins look more three dimensional.
  • Frame Dropdown Box - Defines the type of margins:
    • Sharp - margins with an even slope and sharp edges.
