Light
This sub-menu contains effects related to light and light sources.
To get to this sub-menu, select the Effects menu and then select the Light sub-menu.
- Shadow - An effect used to create shadow. With this effect, you can add shadows around selections. In order to create a shadow, select the desired area and afterwards activate the function. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Offset X, Offset Y Sliders - These commands are used to set the shadow's level of deflection on the X and Y axes (accordingly).
- Level Slider - With this command you can control the level of the effect. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the effect while moving the regulator to the left will decrease it.
- Blur Slider - This command is used to set the blur level of the shadow deflected (the margins). The greater the value of the regulator is, the higher the level of blur will be.
- Opacity Slider - This command is used to set the level of Opacity/Transparency of the deflected shadow. The higher the value of the regulator is, the higher the level of transparency will be.
Direction - This command is used to set the direction of the effect.
- Color/Style Box:
- Color Option - Shows a selection box through which it is possible to select the color of the effect.
- Style (Advanced) Option - Allows you to select custom style of the effect. For more info about styles please click here.
In order to activate the function press on the Light -> Shadow sub-menu under the Effects menu.

- Inner Shadow - An effect used to create inner shadow. With this effect, you can add inner shadows inside selections. In order to create an inner shadow, select the desired area and afterwards activate the function. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:

- Glow/Inner Glow - This effects are used to create an illusion of glow and glitter around/inside a selection. In order to create the Glow highlight, select the desired area and afterwards activate the function. The effect works best with bright colors. To achieve the best results, it is recommended that you use bright colors (such as yellow, light blue, light green and so on). The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Level Slider - With this command you can control the level of the effect. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the effect while moving the regulator to the left will decrease it.
- Opacity Slider - This command is used to set the Opacity/Transparency level of the "glow". The higher the value of the regulator is, the greater the level of transparency.

- Highlight - This effect is used to create a rectangular highlight around the area of selection. With this effect you can emphasize selections. - Blur Slider - This command is used to set the blur level of the "highlight" (of the margins). As the value of the regulator is higher, the level of the blur will be greater.

- Brightness Slider - With this command you can control the level of the effect brightness. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the brightness while moving it to the left will decrease it.
- Intensity Slider - This command is used to set the intensity level of the effect. As the value of the regulator is higher, the level of the intensity will be greater.
