Edit Menu
This menu contains editing functions which are common in the Windows operating system environment such as cut, copy, paste, redo, undo and more.

Undo
This function is used to cancel the last action operated. It is possible to activate the function more than once (by pressing the sub-menu a number of times) in order to cancel a number of last actions. It is possible to define the number of actions that will be saved to memory through the Options sub-menu found under the File menu (default is the last ten actions). In order to reconstruct the actions that were cancelled, use the Redo function.
In order to activate the function press on the Undo sub-menu under the Edit menu.
Redo
This function is used to reconstruct the last action that was cancelled (by the Undo function). It is possible to activate the function more than once (by pressing the sub-menu a number of times) in order to reconstruct the number of last actions cancelled. It is possible to define the number of actions that will be saved to memory through the Options sub-menu found under the File menu (default is the last ten actions). In order to cancel the actions that were reconstructed, use the Undo function.
In order to activate the function press on the Redo sub-menu under the Edit menu.
Cut
This function activates the cut operation on an image (the cut operation copies the image to the Windows Clipboard and afterwards erases the original image). After copying the image to the clipboard, you can easily Paste it to any program in the Windows environment that allows the pasting of images.
In order to activate the function press on the Cut sub-menu under the Edit menu.
Copy
This function is used to copy the active layer/selected area on the active layer to the Windows clipboard. After copying the image to the clipboard, you can easily Paste it to any program in the Windows environment that allows the pasting of images.
In order to activate the function press on the Copy sub-menu under the Edit menu.
Copy Merged Layers
This function is used to copy the entire picture/selected area on the picture to the Windows Clipboard (as opposed to Copy, which (only) copies a single layer or part of it). After copying the image to the clipboard, you can easily Paste it to any program in the Windows environment that allows the pasting of images.
In order to activate the function press on the Copy Merged Layers sub-menu under the Edit menu.
Paste
This sub-menu contains a number of functions which allow you to paste an image from the Windows Clipboard into a program in different variations.
- Paste As New Image - This function creates a new picture, pasting into it the picture saved from the (Windows) Clipboard.
- Paste As New Layer - This function creates a new layer on the active picture, pasting into it the picture saved from the (Windows) Clipboard.
- Paste As Float Selection - This function creates a "floating selection" on the active layer, in the active picture, pasting into it the picture saved from the (Windows) Clipboard.
- Paste Into Selection - This function pastes the content of the saved picture from the (Windows) Clipboard into the selected area on the active layer in the active picture. This function is only available when an area on the active layer is selected.
- Paste As New Outline Selection - This function creates a new selection area on the active layer in the active picture. The function will paste only the selected mask as it was saved with the picture copied to the (Windows) Clipboard.
To get to this sub-menu, select the Edit menu and then select the Paste sub-menu.

Clear Clipboard
This function clears all the information stored on the Clipboard. After having copied a large picture to the Clipboard, it is recommended to clear the content of the Clipboard when you are done in order to vacate the memory resources which the saved picture occupies on the Clipboard.
In order to activate the function press on the Clear Clipboard sub-menu under the Edit menu.
