Colors Menu
Under this menu are found many functions which are used to manage the color and brightness of an image. Through the functions in this menu it is possible to fix, improve and change the colors of an image and its hues, to repair dark and shadowy pictures, fix unclear pictures, create special effects and much more.

Auto Corrections
This sub-menu has a number of automatic functions for the quick repair of imperfect pictures. Through these functions you will be able to improve these pictures a great deal.
- Auto Brightness - This function is used to fix dark pictures. The function automatically locates the dark areas of in an image and changes their level of brightness. This function can greatly improve dark pictures. Through this function it is possible to reach better results than through the Brightness/Contrast function since the Brightness/Contrast function operates on the entire image while this function only operates on the areas which need fixing.
- Auto Contrast - This function is used to fix unclear pictures with low contrast (features). The function automatically localizes areas of low contrast definition in the picture and changes their level of contrast. This function can greatly improve unclear pictures.
- Auto Correct Dark Picture - This function is used to repair extremely dark and unclear pictures. The function combines automatic operations and repairs on many levels. This function is especially useful in repairing very dark pictures where the details cannot be seen clearly.
- Auto Correct Cold/Warm Picture - This function is used to repair "warm" pictures (pictures having an orange shade such as those taken under a tungsten light), "cold" pictures (pictures having a bluish shade such as those taken under a florescent light), and for pictures taken through glass (objects).
The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Cold/Warm Slider - With the Control command it is possible to control the type and degree of the effect. Scrolling the regulator to the right will cause a "warm" effect on the picture, while scrolling it to the left will cause a "cold" effect.
- The dialog box also has the following joint commands: OK Button, Preview Button, Cancel Button, Help Button, Advanced Button (Opacity Slider, Blend Mode Dropdown, Normal Button), Auto Preview Checkbox, and the Use Texture Checkbox.
- Auto Colors - This function is used to fix areas in a picture where the color has faded. The function automatically locates these areas and repairs them. This function is very useful for pictures in which the color has faded in certain areas. For example, a picture which has certain areas that have been exposed to the sun and have therefore faded or a picture which water has been spilled on some of its areas resulting in the fading of these areas, etc. (In pictures where the entire picture has been faded, it is possible to use the HSL function to repair them).
The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Max Sat. Slider - With this command it is possible to control the scope of the color areas that will be affected by the function. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the scope causing the function to affect more areas in the picture and moving the regulator to the left will decrease the scope causing the function to affect fewer areas in the picture (only the most faded areas).
- Level Slider - With this command it is possible to control the intensity of the fix. Moving the regulator to the right will fix the picture with a lot of color while moving the regulator to the left will fix the picture with less color.
- The dialog box also has the following joint commands: OK Button, Preview Button, Cancel Button, Help Button, Advanced Button (Opacity Slider, Blend Mode Dropdown, Normal Button), Auto Preview Checkbox, and the Use Texture Checkbox.
- Auto White Balance - This function is used to repair and remove unrealistic colors. You can easly fix poor tint photos using the Auto White Balance function.
- To get to this sub-menu, select the Colors menu and then select the Auto Corrections sub-menu.

Brightness/Contrast
This function is used to change the brightness and/or contrast of an image. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Brightness Slider - With this command you can control the level of brightness in the image. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the brightness while moving it to the left will decrease it.
- Contrast Slider - With this command you can control the level of contrast in the image. Moving the regulator to the right will increase the contrast while moving it to the left will decrease it.
- The dialog box also has the following joint commands: OK Button, Preview Button, Cancel Button, Help Button, Advanced Button (Opacity Slider, Blend Mode Dropdown, Normal Button), Auto Preview Checkbox, and the Use Texture Checkbox. In order to activate the function press on the Brightness/Contrast sub-menu under the Colors menu.
RGB (Red/Green/Blue)
This function is used to change the degree in the levels of the color channels (RGB) Red, Green, Blue in an image in percents. In effect, the function controls the degree of Contrast in a channel. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Red Slider - With this command you can control the degree of (the) levels in the Red channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its levels (in percentage) while moving it to the left will lower its levels (in percentage).
- Green Slider - With this command you can control the degree of (the) levels in the Green channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its levels (in percentage) while moving it to the left will lower its levels (in percentage).
- Blue Slider - With this command you can control the degree of (the) levels in the Blue channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its levels (in percentage) while moving it to the left will lower its levels (in percentage).
- The dialog box also has the following joint commands: OK Button, Preview Button, Cancel Button, Help Button, Advanced Button (Opacity Slider, Blend Mode Dropdown, Normal Button), Auto Preview Checkbox, and the Use Texture Checkbox. In order to activate the function press on the RGB sub-menu under the Colors menu.
RGB Absolute (Red/Green/Blue)
This function is used to change the degree in the levels of color channels RGB (Red, Green, Blue) in an image with an absolute value (the selected value is added/subtracted from the channel). In effect, the function controls the degree of Brightness in the channel. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Red Slider - With this command you can control the degree in the levels of the Red channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its level (by an absolute value) while moving the regulator to the left will lower the level (by an absolute value).
- Green Slider - With this command you can control the degree in the levels of the Green channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its level (by an absolute value) while moving the regulator to the left will lower the level (by an absolute value).
- Blue Slider - With this command you can control the degree in the levels of the Blue channel. Moving the regulator to the right will increase its level (by an absolute value) while moving the regulator to the left will lower the level (by an absolute value).
- The dialog box also has the following joint commands: OK Button, Preview Button, Cancel Button, Help Button, Advanced Button (Opacity Slider, Blend Mode Dropdown, Normal Button), Auto Preview Checkbox, and the Use Texture Checkbox. HSL (Hue/Saturation/Luminosity)
This function is used to change the degree in the levels of the HSL (Hue/Saturation/Luminosity) in an image. Adjusting the HSL channels in an image resembles adjusting the image in a television set. The function's dialog box has a number of commands which enable the control of the function's operations:
- Hue Slider - With this command you can control the hues of an image. Moving the regulator to the right/left will change the hues of the image.
- Saturation Slider - With this command you can control the quantity of color in an image (similar to adjusting the color in a television set). Moving the regulator to the right will increase the quantity of color in an image while moving it to the left will decrease the color in an image. Moving the regulator to the far left will entirely remove color from the image and the result will be a Gray-Scale image.
- Luminosity Slider - With this command you can control the quantity of light in a picture. Moving the regulator to the right will make it more luminous while moving it to the left will make it darker.
