Thumbnails Window
The Thumbnails window can be displayed only for icons/cursors. It shows the thumbnails of all images of the icon/cursor.
To show/hide the Thumbnails window, do one of the following:
- On the View menu, click Thumbnails.
- Press Ctrl + T.
- On the toolbar, click the Toggle Thumbnails Window
button.
- Right-click on any image in this window to display the pop-up menu. On the pop-up menu, click Toggle Thumbnails Window.
The images in the Thumbnails window are displayed in the same order as they were/will be saved in the file. You can change this order by moving the images up/down. See the "Moving an image within the icon/cursor" page for details.
You cannot edit the image directly in the thumbnail. You have to select the image in the Image Edit window and edit it there.
To select an image from the Thumbnails window, do one of the following:
- Click on the thumbnail of the necessary image.
- If the Thumbnails window is active, use the following keys from the keyboard: Up arrow, Down arrow, Page Up, Page Down, Home and End.
- If the Thumbnails window is active, scroll the mouse wheel up/down.
- Note. To make the Thumbnails window active, click anywhere in the Thumbnails window. When the Thumbnails window is active the thumbnail of the selected image is displayed on a blue background, when it is not active - on a gray background.
Every thumbnail displays image's format: width x height - color depth.
Right-click on any thumbnail to display a pop-up menu.
Note. The information from the Thumbnails window is duplicated in the toolbar's combo box. The only difference is that the combo box stores only the formats of the images from the icon/cursor. Instead of using the Thumbnails window for selecting an image in the Image Edit window, you can use the combo box. The formats of the images from the icon/cursor are listed in the combo box in the same order as the images appear in the Thumbnails window.
