Opening Icon, Cursor & Bitmap
- Do one of the following:
- Drag the file you want to open from Windows File Manager or Windows Explorer and drop it on the Paint Express window.
- On the File menu, click Open.
- Press Ctrl + O.
- On the toolbar, click the Open
 button.
In response to any of these actions, the Open window opens:
- In the Look in box, select the folder that your file is in.
- In the Files of type box, select the type of the image file you want to open.
- From the files list, select the image file you want to open, or type the name of the file in the File name box.
- Click the Open button.
Note. Current version of Paint Express fully supports .ico, .cur, and .bmp files. It also opens .png, .jpg, and .jpeg files as new .bmp files.
