Retouching Images
To edit images use pen, line or eraser tools. To use these tools with rectangles, ellipses or texts you have to convert them to bitmap images first (Image > Convert to Bitmap)
To zoom the image

Press plus sign (num keypad) to magnify and minus sign to go back. You can also use the magnifying glass tool to select an area to view. Read current magnification ratio in the bottom left corner of the status bar, default is 100% (1:1)
Pen tool:

To change Pen tool width use "Brushes" toolbox. To draw a line move the pen tool over the image (you can draw on the bitmap item only), press mouse button and move the mouse.
Bucket fill tool can be used to fill image area of by pixels having the same colors:

Line tool can be used to draw straight lines using current foreground color:

(use "Brushes" toolbox to change the line width)
Eraser tool can be used to erase bitmap areas. Press Ctrl button to switch to larger eraser. Pixels will be erased to current background color.
To "bucket erase" a large part of the bitmap (adjacent pixels of the same color) hold Shift key and click on the area.


Getting the color with "Pipette"
Choose the pipette tool and move it over the image. Read current RGB values in the status bar. Click the mouse button to copy the color to the current foreground color.
To copy part of the image
Duplicate the image item with Edit > Duplicate command. Use "Crop" tool to remove unwanted border of the image.
To repeat (clone) a part of the image
Duplicate the image item with Edit > Duplicate command. Use "Crop" tool to remove unwanted border of the image to repeat. Read current width and height of the image (choose Image > Image Size and click Cancel). Choose Edit > Duplicate command and put as X the width of the image (if you want to repeat the image horizontally) or put as Y the height (to repeat vertically). Enter how many times the image should be duplicated and press OK.
