GIF Optimization
To create smaller gif file:
- Don't use too many animation effects. Each animation creates additional frames that occupy space.

- Try to use less colors in the output file.
- If you use photos try image dithering. Select the image and choose "Image" > "Colors" > "Reduce Colors/Dither"
Optimization Example
The following example shows two gif files. Both have the same number of colors. The lower file was saved using Bannershop "Optimization Wizard".

Unoptimized GIF file: 12 620 bytes

Bannershop™ GIF Optimization: 1 428 bytes
"Optimization Wizard" reduced the file size by 8.8 times without any image quality degradation!
