Exporting Images in JPEG, GIF or BMP Formats
If necessary, each frame can be exported as an image file by using Export Frame As... command. Before saving the frame you can choose the file name and requested file format :

You can either specify GIF, JPEG or BMP format. After specifying the file name you will go to the "Save options" dialog (depending on the file format).
Exporting in GIF format

Palette Options
By using these options you can specify how many distinct colors do you want in your output file. As a general rule the less colors you specify the smaller GIF file will be produced. However the number of colors must be balanced to avoid remarkable picture quality degradation.
Web Optimization
Frame Optimization check box is disabled in single frame export.
Exporting in JPEG format
JPEG Save Options dialog lets you specify JPEG optimization options that affect file size and picture quality :

Save Quality
General rule is the better quality of the picture the bigger file will be produced.
Exporting Animation to AVI
You can export entire animation in Video for Windows AVI format. After choosing Export to AVI file... command under the File menu, you need to select the file name. The compressor will prompt you to select compression method. If you choose "Uncompressed" you will achieve the best quality but the file can grow really big.
