Bannershop GIF Animator
A GIF animation is a set of two or more images combined in one file. These images displayed one by one create an illusion of motion. Each image (animation frame) has so called duration time which tells the web browser how long each frame should be displayed on the screen.
Bannershop GIF Animator goes far beyond simple GIF Animation application. You can animate texts, images and simple shapes and apply animation effects with a single mouse-click. Bannershop introduces Master Frame concept that significantly simplifies the creation of complex documents.

How to put the animation on the Web site?
To put your animation on the web site you need to save the GIF file using "Save Animation" command. Then follow standard procedure to import GIF image to your HTML page.
If you code HTML by hand include <IMG..> tag in the HTML code of your page. Bannershop GIF Animator can create HTML code on-the-fly so you can copy & paste the code to your HTML page from Bannershop GIF Animator. You can also save entire HTML page with your animation.

Can Bannershop GIF Animator optimize GIF file size?
Yes, Bannershop GIF Animator has extended GIF size optimization capabilities matching internet's rigorous requirements. GIF file size optimization is obtained by:
- Reducing number of colors
- removing repeated graphics on consecutive frames
- using advanced optimization methods like using transparency colors and optimizing color palette entries
GIF optimization options are controlled by dialog window displayed each time the GIF file is saved. By default the file size optimization is switched on to achieve the best compression ratio. However the optimization can be switched off to export all animation frames as full size bitmaps. This method might be useful to transfer the animation between different applications.
Another way to optimize the animation is using "Optimization Wizard". It will lead you step by step through the optimization process.
