Copy and Pasting Frames

An image in a frame can be highlighted and copied and pasted immediately below the highlighted image.

If you wish to change the position of the paste you merely need to change the highlighted frame and the pasted image will appear below that selection.

If the clipboard contains an image copied from another source then Antechinus Animator Professional needs to copy it to a folder before inserting it as a frame. To do this it offers you a Save as dialog then performs the paste as normal.

Vector-drawn images and metafiles (Excel charts, Word art...) require Special paste.

Antechinus Animator Professional provides unprecedented support for the Clipboard. Many images saved to the Clipboard are stored as metafiles rather than bitmap formats. These metafiles must be converted to bitmap and then saved to a folder.

Size

Metafiles can be scaled without loss of quality so Animator takes the opportunity to allow you to specify the size you want.

Filename

Animator offers you a Save as dialog to set the folder and filename.

Paste

Animator then automatically performs the paste as normal.

Copy and autopaste

Antechinus Animator Professional provides unprecedented support for the Clipboard. Autopaste is designed to save you lots of time when creating animations.

Autopaste instantly pastes the images you place on the clipboard into your animation. The image you place on the clipboard will be must match the width and height of the first animation frame, all other images are ignored. This allows you to keep working on your image and only copy the entire frame to the Clipboard when necessary. This way you can work on your animation while in another program (typically Photo Magic) and do not have to keep switching between applications. The result can be lightning fast animation development. Handy in conjunction with screen captures or window captures for quick demonstrations of user interfaces.

Autopaste can be switched on and off through selecting Auotpaste from the Edit menu or using the Autopaste icon.

Antechinus Animator Professional provides a selection dialog so that you can select the folder you wish your images to be saved into.
