File Clean Up

Windows applications create numerous files on the hard disk for temporary storage of data. These files are supposed to be removed when the respective application terminates but in most cases, they often remain there. The causes of this may be many, example program errors, restarting the system, improper shutdown etc.

partition files restore notebook data recovery windows password recovery
usb file restore deleted usb files recovery unerase digital pictures
recover data freeware professional data recovery software data recovery downloads

You may have saved redundant files while using a certain application and forgot to remove them. Over time, these obsolete or junk files take up valuable disk space as well as give rise to problems like cross linked references to drive. This confuses and wastes user time. Unfortunately, not all of these type of problems are detectable by programs like Scandisk, Defrag etc. You would have to search and remove these files manually.

Junk Files

Some categories of junk files are displayed with their extensions and description. These junk files can produce self-explaining problems like:

  • Cross-linked References
  • Application Crash
  • Application Errors
  • Virus like Behavior
  • Reboot
