Service Configuration

CacheBoost service can be configured either from the windows Control Panel. On Windows NT it is Start Menu -> Settings ->Control Panel ->Service and in Windows 2000 and above it is in Start Menu -> Settings ->Control Panel -> Administrative Tools ->Services Applet. On Windows XP when you select the CacheBoost service in the service applet it will show you the following screen.

Normally the above configuration works fine.

Besides the above CacheBoost Service can be Started and Stopped both from CacheBoost Control Panel and CacheBoost Tray Icon.

CacheBoost Service also supports command line parameters.
