Integration Into Windows
CacheBoost is installed as a Windows Service and is configured automatically. Every time you boot your machine, it will be launched by the Windows Service Manager whether any user is logged in or not. As soon as CacheBoost service starts it automatically starts to detect your system's configuration. Based on this information, it will choose the optimum settings in order to ensure the availability of system memory. So you do not need to bother when you change the amount of physical memory of your machine or do any modifications on your system. CacheBoost is fully compliant with Address Windowing Extensions which let CacheBoost run on system with more than 4GB of system memory.
As CacheBoost runs in the background it does not matter whether a user is logged in or not. CacheBoost is fully compatible with the Windows XP Fast User Switching. CacheBoost will continue to run and do its work whether a user is logged in or not. As soon as a user is logged in CacheBoost Tray Icon starts and sits in Windows System Tray near the clock.
