Ways of Comparison
Depending on a data structure, you can use two ways for comparison of Excel worksheets:
- Way 1. Database structure: rows of compared worksheets have unique identifiers.
- Way 2. Any structure: but the second worksheet is the changed version from the first worksheet and the relative order of rows was saved.
Depending on quantity of compared worksheets in an Excel Compare project, you can use three ways. These three ways can be combined with each other, and also with two earlier described ways:
- Way 3. All the worksheets that have the same names in two compared workbooks.
- Way 4. All files located in two different folders.
- Way 5. All pages (tabs) in an Excel Compare project.
