Compare Databases
This way is used for comparison of worksheets that contain a database structure or contain rows with unique identifiers. A unique identifier of a row can consist of a single column or be compound from several columns. This comparison method achieves the best results.
- Enter the full name of the 1.xls file into the First File field;
- Enter the worksheet name of the first file into the Sheet Name field;
- Specify columns containing unique identifiers of rows of the first sheet;
- Enter the full name of the 2.xls file into the Second File field;
- Enter the worksheet name of the second file into the Sheet Name field;
- Specify columns containing unique identifiers of rows of the second sheet;
- Choose the "Unique identification" comparison method in the Project Options dialog box;
The main window will appear as follows: 
- Run the "Compare" command
After that, the specified files will be opened, compared and a new sheet will be created. This sheet is the Difference Report, which displays the changed, removed and added data.
