Tally FlexMart
Creating a Tally FlexMart is an important part of Drill-Down Tally. It allows you to wrap up a report and its views from one report definition file (.ddd) along with it's underlying data to create a mini gateway application. After you create the Tally FlexMart you can send the zipped up file to any other licensed owner of Drill-Down Tally. Once they receive the FlexMart file they can unzip it and create as many reports as they want from the data you send them. To create a Tally FlexMart from the current report definition, choose menu option [File] [Create Tally FlexMart...].
Creating a Tally FlexMart Application values
The [Application Description] is just a description you call your application.
[Save Tally FlexMart As] is the filename you give the application.
After your create the Tally FlexMart, you can send the file via email to the intended party.
When the intended party gets the Tally FlexMart file it will consist of several files and must be opened and then saved preferably into its own directory before it can be utilized.
Saving a Tally FlexMart Application values
The [Application Description] is the directory name and description you call your application.
[Save Tally FlexMart As] are the filenames given to the extracted files.
After you click [OK]; Drill-Down Tally will open the new Drill-Down Tally FlexMart. You can use Drill-Down Tally to create as many reports as you want with the new application and its underlying data from the FlexMart application.
