Column Width Wizard
Drill-Down Tally's Column Width Wizard allows you to quickly apply the same column width to several columns. No longer do you need to spend precious time dragging columns. The wizard gives you the ability to precisely set your column widths much faster.
To access the Column Width Wizard you must have the Drill-Down tab active. While the Drill-Down tab is active, there is a [...] button to the right of the Charting tab. Click on this button to activate the Custom Widths Wizard. The following dialog pops up. It contains a list of possible column widths you can change. They are listed according to their major Show As type (Groups, Calculations and Details).

You can change each column individually or use the top input box to enter the new column width. Using the input box you can enter the new value once. See entering a new column width of 1200 in the image below. After you enter a new value, you can click on the checkbox to the right of any columns you would like to apply this same width too.
Notice we clicked on Calculation columns with field names of 2002 - 2006. As you click on each checkbox in the dialog's "Apply To" column, the number you typed into the input box is applied to each checkbox you click on. It's fast and convenient.

Click on the [Apply] button to see Drill-Down Tally change your column widths in the background. If your widths are wider than the page margin or page it will alert you about it. If you want to set several other columns to another width, just do the same procedure over. Type a new value into the input box and then check off each column to apply the new width. Click [Apply]. It's just that easy.
Note: The column width is set to increments of 15. But don't worry the wizard will convert your numbers to help you get the right values.
Note: How to change a group column width that's just before the first calculation column. Any group column next to the first calculation column must be set using the Grand Total's Group By column width. The Grand Total's Group By column regulates the last column width for all group levels that are defined as a Group or Group Add. It works this way to align the first calculation column on all group levels. This works the same for manually dragging the columns or using the Column Widths Wizard.
