Calling External Tools & Tooltips
Calling External Tools
For each node, the contextual menu (right mouse button or context menu key on the keyboard) enables you to call a few external tools:
- Internet Browser: calls this address with your default Browser (Microsoft IE or Netscape).
- Ping: calls Ping.exe with the address as parameter.
- FTP: calls FTP.exe with the address as parameter.
- Telnet: calls Telnet.exe with the address as parameter.
The 3 built-in interactive browsers (SNMP, Ports and WMI) are also available from the contextual menu, next to the 6 customizable entries (VNC, Terminal service, NetMeeting proposed by default).
Tooltips
- Tooltips can be displayed when the mouse moves over a node.
- Choose between Note, MAC address, Ports and SNMP information in the Preferences. A maximum of 70 characters are displayed.
