Remote Execute
Remote Execute enables you to run many kinds of tasks on local or remote machine. For each task you can specify a command, the start time and other options. You can also use LanHelper Integrated Command, a new feature in version 1.10, as the command to perform many useful management routines on remote machine, such as lock keyboard, capture screen, kill process, etc. The function requires the Schedule service to be started at the machine to which the task is submitted.
Schedule: In Remote Execute dialog, Schedule tab is used to schedule a new task to run on multiple remote machines.
- Command
Specify the command you want to execute. The command could be a Windows command, program file or other file such as office document, MP3 song, etc. The path and file name in the command must exist in remote systems.
- In Command filed, enter "::del" (not include the quotation mark) and click Submit button to perform deleting all scheduled tasks action. Enter "::list" (not include the quotation mark) and click Submit button to perform listing scheduled tasks action.
- Use LanHelper Integrated Command
Specify LanHelper Integrated Command for the task to run. All the integrated commands supported by current version and its usage please refer to LanHelper Integrated Command.
- Remote logon - settings
Please refer to Security Credentials.
Schedule Settings: Specify the time and date when you want to start the task.
- Start task today
Schedule a task to run today. You must set the time later than the one on target machine.
- Start task tomorrow
Schedule a task to run on tomorrow.
- Start task at
Schedule a task to run at a certain time, on one or more days of the week, or on one or more days of the month. If the check box "Run periodically" is checked, the task runs on every specified day or days of the week or month. Otherwise the task runs on the specified day or days only once.
- Start task after
This is the default mode for non-periodical task. Specify a value that ranged from 1 minute to 743 hours and 59 minutes, indicating after how long the task will be started.
- Get time
Get the current time of the select machine in machine list. The time was not always equal to the one on local machine.
File Copy: If the execute file specified by the command is not existed on remote system, or it needs some DLL or other files, specify them here. They will be copied to system32 directory on remote system before the task is scheduled.

Specify files to be copied
- Remove
Remove files from the list.
- Interact with desktop when task runs
Allow the task to interact with the desktop of the current user who is logged on at the time the task runs. If this option is turned off, the task runs in background without visible window.
- Submit
Schedule the task to run on remote machine.
View: In View tab, you can view tasks' information, schedule a new task or delete several tasks.
- View task
Enumerate all tasks on remote machines, and display task information such as command, time, week days, month days, interactive, error, ID, etc in the View tab.
- Add task
Schedule a new task on selected machine.
- Delete tasks
Delete selected tasks from remote machines.
- Task Properties
Show detail of the selected task.
- Export HTML
Export all data in the tree control to an HTML report.
A real time log and progress bar are available at Log tab. You can observe all the operations there. The log are also saved to disk and you can select "Tools>Log>View Log" from the menu bar to view it at any time. That's helpful for LAN administrators to analyze and solve network problems.
