Groups
This feature is for groups management, it allows you to create groups, delete groups, change group's properties, etc.
In Groups dialog, General tab provides four actions.
- View groups
Enumerate all groups or specified ones on remote machines, and display group information such as group name, description, members in the View tab.
- Create groups
Specify multiple names and other information to create multiple groups on remote machines.
- Delete groups
Specify one or more group names to delete from remote machines.
- Group members
Use this action to change groups' members. Add or remove accounts from the specified groups.
In View tab you can view all groups or perform actions such as copy group, rename group, etc.
- View all groups
Enumerate all groups on specified machines.
- Create groups
Create one or more groups on the selected machine.
- Copy group
Copy the selected group to multiple ones with other names on the selected machine.
- Rename group
Rename the selected group.
- Delete groups
Delete one or more selected groups on specified machines.
- Group properties
Show detail of the selected group.
- Export HTML
Export all data in the tree control to an HTML report.
A real time log and progress bar are available at Log tab. You can observe all the operations there. The log are also saved to disk and you can select "Tools>Log>View Log" from the menu bar to view it at any time. That's helpful for LAN administrators to analyze and solve network problems. |
