Filters
This mode is intended for displaying and editing information about filters of your collection. Filters mode represents a set of conditions stored in a collection and is intended for getting a set of tracks which corresponds to specified conditions. Filters can be combined into groups.
E.g., using Filters you can select all tracks of The Beatles from the albums released from 1965 till 1970, and picked as Thumb Up.
How to add a filter?
- To add a filter:
- Switch Navigator to the Filters view mode.
To switch to the Filters view mode, use button on the toolbar.
- Click the Add new filter link in Tasks group on the navigation bar.
You can also use the New Filter item from the context menu of Navigator or shortcut key Insert to access this function.
How to add a group of filters?
To add a group of filters:
- Switch Navigator to the Filters view mode.
To switch to the Filters view mode, use button on the toolbar.
- Click the Add new group link in Tasks group on the navigation bar.
You can also use the New Group item from the context menu of Navigator to access this function.
How to set filter condition?
To set filter condition:
- Switch Navigator to the Filters view mode.
To switch to the Filters view mode, use button on the toolbar.
- Select a filter for which condition will be set.
- Double-click on the selected filter to switch to the view mode of corresponded track list.
- Set conditions for the filter using the bar in the upper part of the window.
To add a new condition, click the Filter button, then choose one of two suggested variants from the dropdown menu:
Add Condition
This item leads to adding a new condition. To edit a newly added condition:
- Select a property you want to be conditioned from the dropdown list of properties.
- Select comparison operation from the dropdown list.
- Indicate the property value with which comparison will be accomplished.
Add Group
This item leads to adding a new group of conditions. To define the order of interaction among conditions within a newly added group, select the corresponding item from the dropdown list.
To add a new condition to the group, click the "..." button and select the Add Condition item from the dropdown menu.
To add a new group of conditions to the group, click the "..." button and select the Add Group item from the dropdown menu.
Click the Apply changes link in Tasks group on the navigation bar to apply changes you have made, or click the Cancel changes link for cancellation.
How to export playlist?
To export playlist:
- Select objects for which a playlist will be exported.
- Click the Export playlist link in Tasks group on the navigation bar.
If you select tracks for exporting a playlist , a window will appear in which you have to name a file for a playlist and click the OK button.
If you select objects which contain tracks for exporting a playlist, then a window of export settings will appear in which you have to define necessary parameters and click the ÎÊ button.
You can also use the Send | Playlist item from the context menu of the object to access the Export playlist function.
Export Playlist window
This window is intended for defining export settings.
- Export single playlist
If this option is on, a single playlist will be created for all tracks of selected filters.
- Export separate playlist for each filter
If this option is on, a separate playlist will be created for each filter.
Playlists can be grouped into folders according to selected Folder Grouping option.
- None
If this option is on, all playlists will be placed into the root folder.
- Group by filter groups
If this option is on, sub-folder will be created for each filter group in the root folder, where playlists of corresponding filters will be placed to.

Will a track be deleted from the collection when deleting it from the filter results?
Yes, it will be deleted since a list of tracks stored in a collection is a result of filter functioning.
