This window contains detailed information about album:

• Name
• Release date
• Label on which the album was recorded
• Genre which is appropriate to the album
• Album properties: bootleg, live, soundtrack, etc.
• Date of adding into collection
• Cover
• Review
• List of media represented album tracks
• Your notes

How to load album cover from hard drive?

To load album cover from hard disk or any other drive:

• Go to the Cover tab.
• Click the Load... button.
• Select the file with album cover and click the OK button.
• Click OK or Apply to save changes you have made.
  

You can also use the Load... item from the context menu of the picture to access the Load Cover function.

How to download album cover from Internet?

To download album cover from Internet:

• Go to the Cover tab.
• Click the Download... button.
  The search for the album cover will be performed at Amazon.com. Search results will be displayed in the Amazon Covers window.
• Select the cover you like best and click OK or Apply to save changes.
  

You can also use the Download… item from the context menu of the picture to access the Download Cover function.

This window presents covers found at Amazon.com for selected album.

Choose the cover you like and click the OK button to save it in collection. To see the cover in its actual size, use the Preview button.

How to switch to the list of media represented album tracks?

Use the Storage Media tab to see the list of media represented album tracks

The following information is displayed for each medium:

• Medium format
• Location
• Friend's name who has borrowed your medium
• Date when the medium was lent.

How to associate album with medium?

Why it is necessary to set up this correspondence?

• To find the medium represented tracks of selected album.
• To apply different functions to tracks, such as playback, playlist export, copying to local folder, etc.
  

In what cases the album has no such correspondence?

• You have added a new album using Internet Finder.
• You have added a new album using Navigator.
  

How to associate album with medium?

• Go to the Storage Media tab.
• Click the Associate… button.
• Follow instructions of Associate Album Wizard.

Associate Album Wizard

Step 1. Choose one of the following variants for associating.

Associate tracks with sound files.

This variant of associating is possible only for albums which contain tracks.

We recommend you to use this variant for associating album with digital medium. In fact, the process consists in associating track with sound file. Such association will allow the program to distinguish digital tracks from non-digital ones.

Certain program functions can be applied only to digital tracks. Such as:

• Play
• Export playlist
• Copy tracks to local folder, etc.
  

This association is set up automatically if tracks were saved into collection through Media Scanner. The reason for redefining association you have set can be caused by physical moving sound files, e.g. when writing tracks from hard drive to DVD/CD-ROM.

Click the Next button to continue the process of setting association.

Step 2. Tracks and files selections.

Here you have to define a track for a certain sound file.

The list on the left contains album tracks. The list on the right contains files of current folder. The folder can be changed with dropdown list, which appears after clicking the button above the file list.

Select a track and associated file, and click the Add button. The element represented association of selected track with selected file will be added to the list of associations. To delete association, select the element in the list of associations and click the Delete button.

After defining all necessary associations, click the Next button to get to the final step of the wizard.

Step 3. Medium properties settings.

Here you can edit medium properties. Besides, you can define the order of updating track name and track number. There are two options for this purpose at the bottom of the window:

• Load track names from tags.
  If this option is on, then names of selected tracks will be replaced by values loaded from file data tags.
• Load track numbers from tags.
  If this option is on, then numbers of selected tracks will be replaced by values loaded from file data tags.
  

Click the Start button to set defined associations.

Associate album with medium.

This variant of associating is not applicable if album has at least one track associated with sound file.

We recommend you to use this variant for associating album with non-digital medium, such as vinyl disk, compact cassette, tape, etc.

Such association will allow you to:

• Find the medium with certain album tracks quickly.
• To keep track of media borrowed by your friends, etc.
  

Click the Next button to continue the process of setting association.

Step 2. Medium selection.

Here you have to select the medium with which association of selected album will be set up. You can enter new medium name or select existing medium from the dropdown list.

Having defined a medium, click the Next button to get to the final step of the wizard.

Step 3. Medium properties settings.

Here you can edit medium properties.

Click the Start button to set defined associations.

How to add notes and comments on the album?

To add notes or comments on the album:

• Go to the Notes tab.
• Add notes, comments or any other information into the notes entry field.
• Click OK or Apply to save changes you have made.
