Control positions

An Inzomia animation is done by smoothly moving through a number of control positions. Each control position is a view of the image, i.e. how it looks in the Inzomia window, zoomed in or out.

Adding control positions

To add a control position to your animation interact with the Inzomia window displaying your image. Make sure the selected tab in the Info View is Animation. When you have panned and zoomed to the perfect view in the Inzomia window click the Add pos button in the Info view. A Dialog will be displayed where you can change the name of the control position you just added. When you end the renaming dialog your position will be added last to the position list displayed in the Info View. To create an animation you need to add at least two control positions. If you select a point from the list and click the Insert button. Your current position will be inserted before the selected position in the list.

Removing control positions

To remove positions you have added to the list first select the position you want to remove. Then click the Delete pos button.

Changing control positions

To change a control position while keeping its name first select the position in the list. Double clicking the position will make the Inzomia window move to that position. Adjust the position in the Inzomia window to your liking and press the Change pos button. Your previous control position will still have its previous name and the same order in the list but its related Inzomia position is changed.

Changing name of positions

To change the name of an already added position first select it in the list then click the Rename pos button. You will be prompted with the Rename dialog where you can change the name of the position. Some users prefer to first add all the positions without altering names and then when they have are satisfied with the whole animation they set the names of the positions. Naming of positions are not neccessary - it is simply a way to better organize the work.

Displaying added positions in Inzomia

To 'go to' a position in the list simply double click it or select the position and press the Go to pos button.
