Table Columns

Table columns are labeled in Label Spirit with capital letters. This is very similar to microsoft excel. In Label Spirit, each column represents a separate piece of information for each label.

You can edit table columns in much the same way that you can with the rows. Additionally, you can configure columns to specify the number of times to print a label.

Selecting Columns

You can select columns in the same fashion that you select rows. Choose Selection|Select Column to select entire Columns. The selected column becomes highlighted to indicate its status.

Inserting Columns

You may insert columns in much the same way that rows are added. All the data in the table will shift to the right after you insert the column(s).

  1. To start adding columns, highlight the place in the table where you would like the new columns placed. Everything that you highlight will be shifted right after the columns have been added.
  2. Choose Edit|Insert Column to add columns.
  3. Blank columns will appear where you had columns highlighted.

Deleting Columns

You can delete columns in the same fashion that you insert them. Simply highlight the columns you wish to delete, Choose Edit|Delete Column. All the Columns you have selected will be deleted. Be very careful because this command cannot be undone.

Column Width

You can adjust the table column widths by placing your cursor between column header A and column header B. Your cursor will change to a right/left move cursor.

To adjust the width, simply click and hold down your mouse button and move your mouse to the right or left. In this example, if you want to make the "A" column larger, move to the right. If you want to make the "A" column smaller, move to the left. Release the mouse button when the column looks like you want it to.

To adjust the size of the "B" column, you must put the cursor on the line between the "B" and the "C" headers. Repeat the process as described above for the rest of your columns.
