Figure Objects
A figure object is an illustration created from shapes and colors. It is different from an image file in that it is created by Flying Popcorn itself rather than coming from an external file. Image files often have larger file sizes than figures of comparable size. Flying Popcorn allows you to select from a variety of figure templates. Figures may have several different parts and therefore be composed of several different colors.
To add a new figure
- In the object toolbar, click

- In the Figure Properties dialog box, select a figure.
- Adjust the settings and click OK.
Figure Settings
- Preview Window: Displays the current figure.
- Reset: Click this button to reset any changes you have made to the figure in the dialog box.
- Color: Click one of the buttons to open the Select Color dialog box. The object may have several different colors, one for each of its parts.
- Adjust scrollbars: Move these scrollbars to adjust various aspects of the figure's shape. Figures can have up to 4 adjustment scrollbars, while some figures will have none. Try experimenting with the scrollbars to see how they change the figure.
- Type template: This is a selection of various pre-made figure templates. Click on a template to select it and use the scrollbar to navigate through them. Click the Open another template button to open another Template Set (.set) file from your computer.
