Copy to Clipboard

Copy to Clipboard is one of the basic ways to get Label output. Once the output image is in clipboard, you can then paste it into the document window of other application.

data recovery service restore digital picture pictures unerase
keylogger software advanced keylogger windows password recovery

You can set the format for Copy to Clipboard action, in Option|Configuration menu.

  • Copying to clipboard as Bitmap transfers Label image bits-for-bits. When pasted into other application's document window, all bits in Label image will be laid down as is; depending on that document window's dpi compared with the dpi when you created the Label in 2P Label Sense, it may appear to be scaled up or down.

If the target document window's dpi is smaller than the Label dpi in 2P Label Sense, the barcode image will appear scaled up; that's because the same amount of bits will match up to more inches for smaller dpi.

For similar reason, if the target document window's dpi is greater than the Label dpi in 2P Label Sense, the barcode image will appear scaled down; that's because the same amount of bits will match up to fewer inches for greater dpi.

  • Copying as Meta File transfers Label image in terms of inches or mm's, carrying its absolute dimension information. When pasted into other application's document window, the absolute dimension will be kept.

If the target document window's dpi is the same as Label dpi in 2P Label Sense, the appearance of the barcode label image will be perfect.

However, if the target dpi is smaller, then the appearance may look a little different than the original, because image bits are packed into smaller space.

If the target dpi is greater, the appearance may also look a little different than the original, because image bits are stretch onto bigger space.
