Barcode Settings Details
Barcode Dimensions are determined by barcode type, settings and data. While some of the settings are obvious, some are not and are explained below.
Most one-dimensional barcodes are constructed using alternating narrow and wide bars. For these barcodes,
Bar Width X determines the narrow bar width of a barcode. They are set in unit of dots with its equivalent absolute measure in mils displayed aside.
Ratio determines the ratio wide bar width over narrow bar width. Along with narrow bar width, ratio effectively determines wide bar width.
Check Digit, when applicable, specifies check-digit options associated with some barcode types.
Increment and Duplicate. When generating output in quantities, setting an increment greater than 1 will allow outputs be generated such that each one has barcode with incremented data. Duplicate indicates how many copies you want for each unique output.
