E-mail Settings

This section of the program's settings configures mail server settings for sending e-mails:

  1. SMTP server address. For example, mail.domain.com
  2. Mail server port (default port for SMTP is 25)
  3. From e-mail address
  4. Message subject ("Connection Monitor alert" by default)
  5. Message code page
  6. If your SMTP server requires authorization before sending messages, you will need to turn on "the SMTP-authorization required before sending" and enter your login and password. Warning! This may not be safe to store your e-mail password inside the program. You should consider creating a dedicated e-mail account for sending alerts.
