Connections

To set connnection between program and phone you need correct setting of connection and Mobile Navigator ™ phone plugin, specified for you mobile phone model. To synchronize data PC-mobile phone you need to connect them.

With no connection set Mobile Navigator ™ allows to work with Archive MS Outlook only!

Choose the section according to your connection:

  1. Connection via ÑÎÌ-port
  2. Connection via USB
  3. Connection via IrDA
  4. Connection via BlueTooth

Connection via ÑÎÌ-port

To set the connection:

  1. Run Mobile Navigator™.
  2. Open form Basic/Settings.
  3. In the "Connection settings" box the COM port your phone connected to.
  4. Press the button "Connect" in the "Connection settings" box.

You can adjust the connection settings manually in the Basic/Settings tab Connection settings.

Your phone should necessarily be supported by Mobile Navigator™ (have appropriate plugin) to work up with MN!

Urgently we recommend to use original data-cables of R232 standard!

Connection via USB-port

Before working with Mobile Navigator™ set correctly COm port emulation in your USB settings.

To set connection:

  1. Connect PC and mobile phone with USB cable via USB port.
  2. Launch Mobile Navigator™.
  3. Open form Basic/Settings.
  4. Select emulated COM port in "Connection settings" area.
  5. Press "Connect" button in "Connection settings" area

After that program will automatically set the connection.

You can tune connection settings manually in Basic/Settings> Connection Settings area.

For correct work with Mobile Navigator™ your phone should necessarily have our program support (appropriate plugin)

In current versions USB is supporetd only with COM-port emulation!

Connection via IrDA

It is not necessary to emulate COM port in IrDa settings before working with Mobile Navigator™.

To set phone connection it is enough:

  1. Set connection between IrDA and PC.
  2. Run Mobile Navigator™ .
  3. After that the program will automatically process device search and set the connection.
    If you have emulated COM port do following actions:
  4. Open form Basic/Settings.

In "Connection settings " area select COM port emulated by IrDA.

Press "Connect" button in "Connection settings"

You can tune you connection settings
manually in Basic/Settings > Connection settings area.

For Mobile Navigator™ correct working you mobile phone should necessarily have our program's support (appropriate plugin)

Current versions supports IrDA with COM port emulation as well as without it!

Connection via BlueThooth

Before working with Mobile Navigator™
set up correctly the COM port emulation in you BlueTooth settings.

To connect the phone just do the following:

  1. et up the connecton between BlueThooth device on PC and the phone.
  2. Run Mobile Navigator™.
  3. Open form Basic/Settings.
  4. In the "Connection settings" box the COM port emulated by BlueThooth.
  5. Press the button "Connect" in the "Connection settings" box.
    After that the program will automatically set he connection.

You can adjust the connection settings manually in the Basic/Settings tab Connection settings.

Your phone should necessarily be supported by Mobile Navigator™ (have appropriate plugin) to work up with MN

There only Bluetothh with COM port emulation connection is supported in current versions!
