Image Format Limitations
When converting to certain formats, such as JPEG, Icon and WBMP, the image may be changed (i.e. number of colors may decrease, or in case of icons, the size will be limited to 32x32 pixels). This happens because of limitations in these image formats.
You do not need to worry about these limitations, the program will convert the images and fix the limitations for you.
It is important, however, to be aware of these limitations, since once an image has been converted to e.g. a monochrome black and white image, it is not possible to convert it back into colors again.
Likewise, converting a PNG image into a JPEG image may decrease the quality of the image permanently. Note that the program will never overwrite the original file, but instead create a new one. So as long as you do not delete the original files, you will have a chance to go back to the original.
