The Global Options tab shows information mostly regarding ImageBadger's behaviour and what to do in certain cases.

Main Window:

Always ask where to save the images when converting: If this option is enabled, a window will appear whenever you convert images asking where the converted images should be saved.

Show thumbnails in the image list: If this option is enabled, thumbnails of each image added in the Main Window of ImageBadger will be shown, and also additional information like filename, folder path, resolution, color depth and size will be shown. If this option is not enabled, only the filename will be shown in the image list.

Miscellaneous:

Silent mode (no messages will be shown): If this option is enabled, no messageboxes will be shown if any error occurs.

Scan subfolders for images when adding folders: If this option is enabled, ImageBadger will automatically scan all subfolders for images when you have chosen to scan a folder for images.

Log:

Log all processing activity to file: This will log all conversion activity done through the Shell Context and Main Window to a specified file.

Action to do on multi-page images:

You can choose either to output multi-page images when the output image format chosen supports this and if not just output a single-page image of the first frame in the multi-page file, or output single-page images of all frames in the multi-page image, or output single-page image of the first frame in the multi-page image.
