Popup Window Elements

In this section you can setup the Popup window elements like buttons and toolbars.

"Use Integrated Button Images" checkbox
Check this checkbox if you like to have integrated button images for your DHTML popup. This feature is available only for the DHTML type of popups. DHTML popups may have close and minimize buttons and you have the flexibility to choose their face by selecting an image file for each one of the two buttons.
If you uncheck this checkbox you will have to enter the close and minimize images' URLs. The button faces will be loaded from these URLs and you need to supply valid URLs (either absolute or relative) for your button images (see about selecting images' URLs below).

digital photo restore best data recovery software data recovery tools downloads
deleted picture recovery memory card picture recovery drive recovery program free
undelete usb drive restore usb files unerase digital photos

If you check this checkbox, the button images will not be looked for on external URLs and instead will be integrated with the popup code. Thus you will not have to worry about supplying URLs for button images and will not have to worry about uploading button image files on the selected URLs. This option (integrated button images checked) has benefits, as described so far, but has one drawback: it is performance hungry and on slower machines the animation of the popup's behavior will be somewhat slower. You may always test for yourself and decide which one variant to use.

"Show Minimize button" checkbox and Minimize Button Image Path
These settings are again available only for DHTML popups. If you need to have a minimize button on your DHTML popup then check this checkbox. You will be able to enter the image file path for your minimize button. Whether you have chosen to use integrated buttons or not, you will be able to choose the corresponding image file path. If you have chosen to use integrated buttons then you will need to specify (using the "Browse" button) an image .BMP file from your harddrive. In the current version Popup Toolkit supports only BMP file for the integrated button images. If you choose to use non-integrated button images, then you will be able to specify any absolute or relative URL for the image file. It this case you will be able to specify any browser supported image file format like BMP, GIF, JPG, etc.

"Show Close button" checkbox and Close Button Image Path
These settings are again available only for DHTML popups. If you need to have a close button on your DHTML popup then check this checkbox. You will be able to enter the image file path for your close button.

"Show Toolbar", "Show Locationbar", "Show Statusbar", "Show Toolbar", "Show Locationbar", "Show Statusbar", "Show Scrollbars", "Show Directorybar" and "Show Menubar" checkboxes

These checkboxes except the "Show Scrollbars" are available for non-DHTML popups and mostly for the Standard and Standard Popunder popup types. You can specify which bars of the popup browser window should be visible. Checking an option means that the given bar will be visible.

  • Toolbar - These are browser window buttons like Forward, Back, etc.
  • Location Bar - This is the browser's address bar. The locationbar holds the current web page URL.
  • Statusbar - This is the bottom bar that show some specific info about the page like if the web page is being loaded and so on.
  • Scrollbar - This checkbox is available for the DHTML popups too. When you check it your popup will have scrollbars and you will be able to specify the scrollbar color.
  • Directorybar - This is the Internet Explorer's Directories' bar.
  • Menubar - The menus of the web browser window.

Scrollbar Color
When you check the "Show Scrollbars" checkbox you are enabled to specify the scrollbar color for your popup. For some popups and for some cases when you use external content (an external web page as content) you will not be allowed to setup the scrollbar colors. In the case of an external popup content (external web page as content) the scrollbar color will be specified by the web page itself. Use the 'Pick' button or simply click on the colored field to open a color picker dialog for easy color selection.
