Start Scanning

To start the scanning process, simply click the "scan now" button on the left side of the program interface.

1-Reset Statistics Button

Press on reset statistics button if you want to update the information of: last update date, last system scan date, number of scans and the number of removed objects which appear in the 'scan now' window.

2-Update Now Button

When you purchase Malware Spider, you are entitled to FREE updates and replacement downloads for one year from the date of purchase.

You can check for new updates on the web using the link "Check for updates now!" On the main screen or press "Update now" from the scan now window, but make sure that you are connected to the web.

3 -Start Scan button

On pressing the start scan button, a new window will appear with three options:

quick ----Quick Scan:

Concentrates on smart specific target areas of your system, using an intelligent fast algorithm.

Full Scan:

Does an extended scan on your entire system.

Custom Scan:

Is a very versatile scan that caters to your choice of scanning specific files, folders drives and any area of your computer that you select for scanning.

• In the first two options, you can then press on the select button to start scanning.
• In the last option, on pressing the select button, you will be moved to a new window to select the folders that you want to scan.

As in the shown figure, you have also the ability to scan memory,

scan Registry (quick scan, deep scan) and scan cookies.

You can then press 'Start Scan' or 'Cancel' the scanning process.

Scanning window:

• This window as shown in the figure presents the scanning progress.
• You can abort scanning at any time, by pressing on 'abort scanning'

then press on 'continue' button to go to the list of infected objects.
