Using Page Tabs (Quick Browsing)
Page Tabs are temporary windows for browsing web pages and previewing files. Page Tabs are a division of Section Tabs. You can have a maximum of 64 Page Tabs per Section Window.
By default, Page Tabs appear at the bottom of your browser window. Each section starts with one Page tab that cannot be deleted and has the same properties as the associated Section tab.
Creating Page Tabs
Create Page Tabs by holding down the Shift key and clicking on your desired link and or just drag the link to the Page tab area (To open files in Page Tabs you must drag them to the Page tab area).
The difference between Page tab windows and Section tab windows is that Page tab windows are not saved next time you load your program. Page Tabs are also closed when you switch Cabinets in the same panel.
To close a Page tab, double click on it (default setting). To close the window and all the Page Tabs, double click on the first Page Tab. To Move Page Tabs, hold the ALT key and drag your Page Tabs to the Section Tab area or another Drawer.
Managing Page Tabs
Page tab properties are accessed from Tools > Customize Desktop Settings > Internet menu.
Using the manager you can specify the width of Page Tabs, the number of tabs open simultaneously, the shortcuts keys for closing Page Tabs and much more. The list is self-explanatory.
