Using Desktop Search
Optimal Desktop Search will let you search your Bookmarks and RSS headlines stored in Optimal Desktop.
You can activate search windows from the Toolbar (Magnifier icon), Keyboard Shortcut (Alt + S) and the context menu of the Page Tab. The Search window will open in a Page Tab.
The Search command activates the Page Tabs (even if the Page Tabs are turned off) and opens a new page tab next to the current Page tab.
To modify your search settings access "Search Manager" from the Tools > Desktop Manager > Search Manager menu.

Note: You can activate multiple search windows simultaneously
Desktop Tab Search
Select Desktop Tab Search if you want to search Cabinets, Drawers, and Sections.
Double-Click on the item to open the search target in a new page tab. Notice that if your search result is a Drawer, you cannot open the result as a Page tab.
Shift + Double-Click to jump to the Cabinet\Drawer\Section of your search item. Note that the search window will follow you to the target destination.
Tip: Add notes to the Comment and Tooltip fields when creating tabs to help you with your searches!
Optimal Bookmark Search
Select Optimal Bookmark if you want to search Optimal Bookmark folders.
Double-Click on the item to open the search target in a new page tab.
Shift + Double-Click to jump to the Cabinet\Drawer\Section Tab of your search item. Note that the search window will follow you to the target destination.
Tip: Add notes to the Comment and Tooltip fields when creating tabs to help you with your searches!
RSS Headline Search
Select RSS headline to search RSS headlines stored on your computer for the right matches.
Double-Click on the item to open the search target in a new page tab.
Shift + Double-Click to jump to the Cabinet\Drawer\Section Tab of your search item. Note that the search window will follow you to the target destination.
Tip: You can copy your RSS search results into a RSS container and publish the results as an XML file.
