Programs

  • Use password to login to the program
    • Check this to be prompted for a password in order to enter use KidSplorer
  • Login Password
    • Enter the password that will allow you to login to the program
    • Note: You must have a password, the program will not allow you to enter a blank password. Also, the password is case sensitive.
  • Use password to exit the program
    • Check this to be prompted for a password in order to eexit KidSplorer
  • Exit Password
    • Enter the password that will allow you to enter Parental Mode
    • Note: You must have a password, the program will not allow you to enter a blank password. Also, the password is case sensitive.
  • Prevent Windows Explorer from running
    • Check to have KidSplorer detect when Windows Explorer is running and to automatically close
  • Prevent Internt Explorer from running
    • Check to have KidSplorer detect when Internet Explorer is running and to automatically close it

Window

  • Hide Windows Desktop
    • Check to hide the icons on Windows Desktop and prevent the running of any programs or shortcuts on the desktop
  • Prevent Program switching...
    • Check to Disable Atl+Tab, Ctrl+Esc, Alt+Esc, Windows Logo-Key access.
    • Ctrl+Alt+Del will only be disabled for Windows 98/ME.
  • Hide the Program's Minimize & Maximize buttons
    • Check to hide the minimize and maximize buttons on the main window

Web sites

  • Allow access only to web sites that are in the site list
    • Check to access only to web sites that are in the KidSafe site list
  • Disable right-click menu
    • Check to prevent the right-click context menu from appearing
  • Do not show any Popup Windows
    • Check to prevent the activation of Popup Windows
    • Note: These feature only works while KidSplorer is running.
