Main Screen

KidSplorer web browser is designed children to safely use the internet. The interface is designed to be friendly and intuitive, to make it very easy for you and your children to use the program.

This your primary screen for browsing and navigating the web. You can visit any site that is setup in the KidSafe site list, if you try to browse a site that is not in your site list the site will be blocked. You will get a friendly message indicating that the site is blocked, KidSplorer will display a site only if it is included in the KidSafe Site list.

The main screen is made up of 5 sections:

  • Navigation toolbar - Allows you to easily navigate to web pages
  • KidSafe site list- Shows all the site you have setup to be accessed
  • Address toolbar - Enter a web site address or select a web site from the dropdown list
  • Browser - Displays the web page content
  • Status bar- Displays the web link title and page load progress.

Navigation to a Web Address

The web site address box allows you to select a site from the dropdown list or you can type in the address. In either case, the system will only allow you to access sites that are in your KidSafe site list. In addition, you can easily navigate to any site by clicking the site name displayed in the KidSafe Site List window.
