Opening Folder/System Tray
Opening a Folder
When InfoRecall is installed it creates a Data Folder like C:\InfoRecall\Data and places the Sample Folders there. Your Data Folder now will be C:\InfoRecall\Data unless you change it.
When you start InfoRecall it will check your Data Folder for Folders and put all the Folders it finds into the Folder Box, the Box at the top left side of the Document Bar that says Folder BOX.
When you create a new Folder InfoRecall creates it in your Data Folder and automatically lists the Folder in the Folder Box.
To Open a Folder:
- Click on the arrow to the right of the Folder Box
- Click on a Folder from the list of Folders.
When the Document Toolbar is not in view.
- Choose Folder Manager from the File menu.
- Locate a Folder in Folder Manager List box.
- Double click on the Folder or click on it and click the View button.
The Folder will be opened and all the documents will be shown in the Document Tree.
Note:
Data Folders can be anywhere, for instance you might want to keep a number of Folders in another folder of your computer or in a folder of another computer on a network. To access these Folders you must Swap Source Folders. InfoRecall can quickly switch back and forth between a number of Data Folders by using Swap Source Folders from the Tools menu.
Important:
