Network Benchmark

Network Benchmark

The Network Benchmark creates a file on the specified network remote computer disk drive then writes & reads from it 2 times (the file size is specified by the user).

You can benchmark a specified network remote computer disk drive simply by selecting the current drive in HARDiNFO. The remote disk drive must be mapped for the local computer. The benchmark calculates the full duplex transfer speed between the local & remote computer.

data recovery free windows vista restore disk recovery tools
sim card data recovery data recovery ipod data retrieval
notebook data recovery reset passwords restore file

NOTE: For more accuracy, please set the file size for benchmark at least twice the RAM size of your computer to overload the cache memory allocated by Windows.

If a hard drive / partition from the network remote computer has less than 30% percent of free disk space then the read & write speed is much lower than on a drive with more free disk space.
