Memory (RAM)
This option displays detailed information about the computer Memory.
The Information displayed is related to the computer to which HARDiNFO 2004 was connected, it may be the local computer or a network remote computer.
The Memory Information Information is displayed in the following items:
- Physical Memory Load / Used Memory: This progress bar displays a graphical representation of the physical memory usage.
- Virtual Memory Load / Used Memory: This progress bar displays a graphical representation of the virtual memory usage. The virtual memory is created by Windows on the hard drive as a file in order to avoid physical memory overload.
Physical Memory
The Physical Memory information is displayed in the following items:
- Total Physical Memory: This item displays the size of the total physical memory.
- Free Physical Memory: This item displays the size of the free physical memory space.
- Used Physical Memory: This item displays the size of the used physical memory space.
Virtual Memory
The Virtual Memory information is displayed in the following items:
- Total Virtual Memory: This item displays the size of the total virtual memory.
- Free Virtual Memory: This item displays the size of the free virtual memory space.
- Used Virtual Memory:This item displays the size of the used virtual memory space.
Memory Configuration
The Memory Configuration information is displayed in the following items for the selected Memory Bank:
- Memory Bank: This item displays the selected memory bank.
- Memory Size: This item displays the physical memory size of the memory installed in the selected memory bank.
- Socket Label: This item displays the socket label of the selected memory bank.
- Chip Implementation: This item displays the chip implementation of the installed memory from the selected memory bank.
- Manufacturer: This item displays the manufacturer name of the installed memory from the selected memory bank.
- Memory Type: This item displays the memory type for the selected memory bank.
