Keyboard & Mouse
This option displays detailed information about the computer keyboard & mouse.
The Information displayed is related to the computer to which HARDiNFO 2004 was connected, it may be the local computer or a network remote computer.
Keyboard Information
The Keyboard Information Information is displayed in the following items:
- Keyboard Name / Model: This item displays the keyboard manufacturer name & model.
- Description: This item displays the keyboard description.
- Number of Function Keys: This item displays the keyboard number of function keys.
Pointing Device Information
The Pointing Device information is displayed in the following items:
- Device Name / Model: This item displays the model name of the pointing device.
- Manufacturer: This item displays the manufacturer name of the pointing device.
- Device Type: This item displays pointing device type.
- Number of Buttons: This item displays the number of buttons available on the pointing device.
- Device Interface: This item displays the pointing device interface.
- Hand Operation Mode: This item displays the pointing device hand operation mode.
- Double Speed Treshold: This item displays the pointing device double speed treshold acceleration. The sensitivity of the pointing device doubles (toggles from the first to the second value) when the pointing device moves a distance greater than this threshold value.
- Quad Speed Treshold: This item displays pointing device quad speed treshold acceleration. The system doubles the speed of the pointer movement when the pointer device moves a distance greater than this value. because this speed increase occurs after Double Speed Treshold value has been met, the pointer effectively moves at four times it's original speed.
