This option displays detailed information about the installed DVD or CD-ROM Drives.
The Information displayed is related to the computer to which HARDiNFO 2004 was connected, it may be the local computer or a network remote computer.

The DVD/CD-ROM Drives Information Information is displayed in a table under the following items:

Drive Name/Model: This item displays the DVD/CD-ROM model name.
Description: This item displays the description of the DVD/CD-ROM drive.
Manufacturer: This item displays the manufacturer name of the DVD/CD-ROM drive.
Drive: This item displays the assigned drive letter.
Availability: This item displays the availability of the DVD/CD-ROM drive.
Status (S.M.A.R.T.): This item displays the status of the diskdrive.
- Note: The status of the diskdrive supports S.M.A.R.T. enabled diskdrives and can display failure prediction information.
