CPU/Processor

This option displays detailed information about the computer CPU / Processor.
The Information displayed is related to the computer to which HARDiNFO 2004 was connected, it may be the local computer or a network remote computer.

The CPU/Processor Information Information is displayed in the following items:

  • Detected Processor(s): This item displays a short name of all the installed processors in the computer.
  • Total Number of Processors: This item displays the total number of Installed CPUs/Processors.
  • Availability: This item displays the Availability and status of the device. Power Save - Unknown indicates that the device is known to be in a power save mode, but its exact status is unknown; Power Save - Low Power Mode indicates that the device is in a power save state but still functioning, and may exhibit degraded performance; Power Save - Standby indicates that the device is not functioning but could be brought to full power quickly; and Power Save - Warning indicates that the device is in a warning state, though also in a power save mode.
  • Operational Status: This item displays the current operational status of the CPU/Processor.
  • Configuration Status: This item displays the CPU/Processor Configuration Status.
  • Socket Designation: This item displays the type of chip socket used on the circuit to connect the CPU/Processor.
  • CPU Description: This item displays the CPU/Processor description.
  • CPU Family: This item displays the CPU Family type.
  • Address Width: This item displays the CPU Address Width in bits.
  • Data Width: This item displays the CPU Data Width in bits.
  • Processor ID/Serial Number: This item displays the CPU unique ID number or serial number.
