CPU Benchmark

The CPU Benchmark simulates routines used in Windows, Unix and applications like (PGP, WinZIP, MP3 Encoders, MP3 Players, 3DS Max, PhotoShop, Corel Draw, Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
It includes the following tests:
- Numeric Heapsort
- String Heapsort
- Bitfield Test
- Floating Point Emulation
- Fourier Coefficients (used in Sound Processing Applications, like Cool Edit, Sound Forge, MPEG Encoders, etc.)
- Assignment Algorithm
- IDEA Encryption (used in PGP and other RSA security programs)
- Huffman Compression (used in compression / decompression programs, and in all applications which handle MPEG, JPEG, etc. files, these algorithm very used by Internet Explorer and Netscape, when decoding .GIF files).
- Back Prop. Neural Net
- LU Decomposition (linear equations)
Many People ask WHY THE CPU BENCHMARK TAKES SO LONG? A 3 seconds benchmark cannot be considered benchmark!, professional benchmark programs needs hours to benchmark a system!, so be patient and wait 7-8 minutes for this CPU benchmark if you want to get more accurate results.
