Stealth Mode
Stealth Mode - accessible through the main menu (File/Stealth Mode) or through a popup menu on the AutoFtp icon.
The Stealth Mode can run Auto Transfers without an overhead of the user interface (it takes less resources and is more reliable). It is recommended to run all Auto Transfers (especially over a long period of time) in Stealth Mode. To avoid launching Auto Transfers when in the full version of AutoFtp check the new option "Pause Auto Transfers".
To start AutoFtp in Stealth Mode automatically when you reboot your system create a shortcut to Stealth.exe file in Windows Startup folder.
Stealth Mode should not be confused with Hidden Mode (File/Hide) which simply hides all AutoFtp windows.
To check the status of all transfers that took place during the Stealth Mode session:
- select through the main menu View/View Log. Check all messages in the Log Window.
- or, you can set in your auto-transfers "Send Email Message To" option: Schedule Auto Transfer Window
How to Hide AutoFTP
In order to hide AutoFTP select File/Hide from the main menu. You can also select Hide On Startup option in Preferences. You can restore the hidden AutoFTP by clicking on the AutoFTP icon installed on the Windows Icon Tray (right-side of the Windows task bar).
