Select Files to Upload

In order to select files for upload you have to do the following:

1. Locate the file folder (on your local system) to which you want to upload files. You do it by expanding branches of the top left panel (Local System).
2. Click on the Filename of the file that you want to select in the upper right panel - the file name should become highlighted.
3. If you want to select more then one consecutive files just press the Shift key and continue clicking on the file names.
4. After you have selected the files click on the Upload button or right-click on the selected files and select Upload menu item (hot key command: Alt-U). You can also drag-and-drop the selected files onto the Remote System panels (in the bottom of the main window). Or, you can click with right mouse button on the item and select the upload command from the popup menu (three upload options are available).
5. If you are not connected to a remote system you will be prompted for the remote system name and folder to which you want to upload the files.
6. Selected files will be added to the Transfer Manager file list (transfer set). You can go back to step 1 and continue adding files (e.g. from a different file folder).
7. You can save the transfer set for future use. Click on the Save push button in the Transfer Manager. You will be able to load the transfer set from the template (Load push button in the Transfer Manager window). You have to create transfer sets and save them into the templates if you want to define scheduled auto-transfers.

How to use wildcard characters?

1. Select directory that contains files for upload.
2. Click on the Upload button or right-click on the selected directory and select Upload menu item.
3. All files listed in the selected directory will be uploaded. The following wildcard will be used: *.*

Note: Subdirectories will not be included.

Note: You can edit the wildcard. In the Transfer Manager window select the transfer item and click on the edit push button. In the Transfer Item window modify parameters.

3. In the Transfer Manager Window select this item and click on the edit push button. In the Transfer Item window modify parameters.
