Security

Use this tab to add or delete security permissions for a particular resource to a particular user, or add permissions for a particular resource to a number of users. To use this tab, you must first select a user from the Users listbox on the (shown on the FTP Options screen). When a user is selected, any resources they have read or write access to will be shown in the listbox above. You can then update that users security for the resources selected in the listbox above by highlighting the resources, and then checking or unchecking the Read Access and Write Access permissions using the check boxes with the corresponding names, and then clicking on the Update button.

File/Directory To Secure
Use the button to the right of this textbox to choose a file or directory resource to secure. Once you have selected the resource to secure, use the Add button to add it to the secure resource list.

Secure Resources
This listbox shows the secure resources for the selected user. You can select one or more entries to remove or alter permissions for by pressing the Remove button, or selecting the read/write permissions you want, and then clicking on the Update button.

Read Access
Indicates whether the selected user has read access for the selected resource(s). Note that you can change Read Access for multiple resources by selecting more than one resource before pressing the Update button.

Write Access
Indicates whether the selected user has write access for the selected resource(s). Note that you can change Write Access for multiple resources by selecting more than one resource before pressing the Update button.

Add
Use this button to add a new secure resource for the selected user by choosing the resource, and then clicking this button to add it to the Secure Resources listbox.

Remove
Use this button to remove one or more secure resources from the Secure Resources listbox.

Update
Use this button to Update the Read and Write permissions on resource(s) selected in the Secure Resources listbox.

Users
Use this button to get to the Modify Users For Resource screen. This screen allows you to assign user(s) to a resource, instead of resources to users (as this screen allows). Note that you may only select one resource before pressing this button (this is the resource you will be allowed to add or remove permissions for users to/from).
